Job Title: Welder

Job Description

This role focuses on refurbishing used paper mill machine parts by welding, repairing, and assembling components as needed. You work from blueprints on a daily basis, perform both MIG and TIG welding depending on project requirements, and complete your own quality inspections to ensure safe, accurate, and reliable results.

Responsibilities

• Refurbish used paper mill machine parts by repairing, welding, and reassembling components to meet operational standards.
• Interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings on a daily basis to determine weld locations, dimensions, and specifications.
• Perform MIG, TIG, and flux core welding on stainless steel and carbon steel, adapting techniques based on project needs.
• Inspect completed welds and assemblies, performing your own quality checks to verify structural integrity and adherence to specifications.
• Use measuring tools such as tape measures and protractors to confirm dimensions and tolerances during fabrication and assembly.
• Adjust welding parameters and techniques to accommodate different materials, thicknesses, and positions while maintaining high-quality welds.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, following all safety procedures and using required personal protective equipment.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to plan work, prioritize tasks, and ensure projects are completed on schedule.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lebanon, OH.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
