Inside Sales Counter

Maumee Supply, a wholesale company located in Perrysburg, Ohio, is seeking an Inside Sales professional to join the Counter Sales team. As an Inside Sales professional, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in the growth of the company by maintaining current sales accounts and generating new business. You will work closely with the outside sales team to provide superior customer service to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and provide the same friendly, excellent service.
• Advises and actively upsells customers at the counter on complimentary products beyond the original order.
• Sells & promotes the items and products that we stock – provides alternative suggestions to customers who request other products, and successfully converts initial customer requests to stock brands.
• Develop and maintain relationships with current and potential customers
• Assist customers with product inquiries and recommendations
• Process orders and track shipments to ensure timely delivery
• Provide pricing and product information to customers
• Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends
• Collaborate with outside sales team to meet company goals
• Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
• Make proactive calls from sales made and courtesy calls to customers in for future sales.
• Pull orders from the warehouse when necessary and help with loading into customers vehicle.
• Research (repair) parts, warranty information, and sizing information for customers.
• Attend all sales meetings as requested.
• Keep counter / sales area clean and organized.
• Rotate products from the display case to continually encourage a variety of impulse-buys.
• Assist outside sales team as an inside support person by creating Job Submittals and
• Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Manuals, and sending documentation to customers.
• Pack and ship UPS shipments, and online/website orders.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years in an inside sales role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of CRM systems preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
