Hybrid Project Architect - Cleveland, OH

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Job Captain or Project Architect to lead Retail Architecture projects from inception to completion. The role involves handling specific technical details and design aspects of assigned projects, including investigation, evaluation, and architectural design recommendations. You will participate as a key member of the project team, contributing to all aspects of project scope, production, and implementation of construction documents, and coordination of consultant scopes.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical details and design aspects of assigned projects.

• Collaborate with the project team on project scope, production, and implementation of construction documents.

• Assist in managing client expectations.

• Coordinate communication between the project team, sub-contractors, and other disciplines.

• Ensure construction documents align with design intent.

• Conduct code analyses and act as the primary contact with jurisdictions.

• Perform submittal reviews during construction and maintain RFI and submittal logs.

• Supervise a small team of interior designers and technicians when necessary.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of experience using Revit and AutoCAD

• 3+ years of experience in an Architecture space.

• 3+ years of experience in Commercial or Retail Architecture.

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.

• Experience in creating architectural drawings for commercial or retail spaces

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Cleveland, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $43.00/hr.
