We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Military Controls Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead to drive the development of innovative control systems for advanced military programs. Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Program Leadership :

  • Lead the development of cutting-edge control system designs for military applications.
  • Drive the team through all phases of the product lifecycle, including design, verification, and qualification.
  • Ensure alignment with program objectives, technical requirements, and customer expectations.

Cross-Functional Team Management :

  • Coordinate and lead a multidisciplinary Controls team, including hardware component designers and software developers.
  • Foster collaboration and communication across teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software development efforts.

Technical Expertise :

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team, leveraging a strong background in control systems and project management.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of innovative solutions to meet program challenges.

Strategic Influence :

  • Shape technical and program strategies to ensure successful execution and delivery of program milestones.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with broader program goals and customer needs.

Risk Management :

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure program success.
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed to address technical or schedule challenges.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in controls engineering
  • Strong background in control systems design, development, and integration.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams through hardware and/or software development processes.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • This role requires the successful candidate to obtain and maintain US Government Security Clearance; prerequisite for a security clearance is U.S. citizenship.

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with military programs and requirements.
  • Experience with verification and qualification processes for hardware and software systems.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to aerospace and defense.
