Construction Project Scheduler - Airports & Infrastructure

We are seeking an experienced and solutions-focused Construction Project Scheduler to join our growing team. In this role, you will develop and manage detailed construction schedules, collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams, and deliver high-quality scheduling solutions for airport and other complex infrastructure projects. This position requires strong technical skills, the ability to communicate clearly with clients and colleagues, and a proactive approach to solving project challenges. You will play a key role in supporting project delivery from early planning through execution, often working on fast-paced, multi-phase construction programs. This is a full-time hybrid position, with in-office work in Hebron, KY on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and remote work on Monday and Friday. A fully remote arrangement, within the U.S., is available for the right candidate with a strong internet connection. Position Responsibilities
- Assemble schedules in clear and concise formats to fit client needs, including researching material availability and labor practices, developing activity durations, assessing and responding to global project variables, integrating quantity takeoff or other constraints, documenting project assumptions, and issuing project reports.
- Assist in maintaining schedule databases and scheduling software, including keeping data up-to-date and maintaining accessibility for staff across the company.
- Manage or assist in managing a project team to complete Connico deliverables beyond schedules, including constructability reviews, project controls, escort or badging services, planning projects and related services, or other projects.
- Participate in a project team, as required, to complete Connico deliverables not listed above, including estimating.
- Produce quality deliverables working with detailed design and planning-level or ROM-level documents.
- Lead or assist in leading an internal team to achieve project goals on projects, including on-time delivery of deliverables, producing reports that meet Connico’s core values and high standard of quality, utilizing and training other Connico staff, communicating project changes or challenges to the company, and bringing the project in on budget.
- Assist in coordinating quality management reviews for Connico deliverables and lead reviews of individual quality elements.
- Develop and mentor others on technical and non-technical topics, sharing knowledge through the company.
- Maintain client relationships and assist in maintaining client relationships through regular client interface, both on projects and through interactions unrelated to projects.
- If required, perform onsite construction observation, including document management, quantity tracking, and observation of construction activities.
- Some travel is required, including visits to conferences, client offices, project sites, or other company offices. Expected travel is approximately 25%.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, construction engineering/technology, civil engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
- PMP, PMI-SP, PSP, CCM, or P.E. certification is required.
- 5+ years of heavy/major construction scheduling experience is required; aviation/airport experience preferred.
- 2+ years of onsite construction experience and/or experience in construction positions (e.g. Field Engineer; Superindendent; or related) is required. On-site airport experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural, civil, and engineering drawings and specifications at all design levels 1-5, including ROM is required.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, Primavera OPC, or Microsoft Project is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) is required.
- Proven track record of managing, leading, and creating project schedules, including responsibility for deliverables timeliness, budget management, integrating estimate elements from multiple divisions, and professionally communicating with clients is required.
- Experience developing construction production rates for civil and architectural-related projects, including conceptual projects is preferred.
- Experience in aviation or airfield projects is preferred.
- Some travel is required, including visits to conferences, client offices, project sites, or other company offices. 25% travel.
- Must have a dedicated home workspace with a reliable internet connection that meets or exceeds the specified minimum upload and download speeds.
