Travel Ultrasound Tech Job

TLC Healthforce
Zanesville, OH
Embark on a transformative opportunity as an Ultrasound Tech with a focus on ultrasound imaging, delivering high-quality diagnostic services across a welcoming network of facilities starting March 9, 2026. This role is built for skilled professionals who want to make a meaningful impact in patient care while exploring the rich landscapes of Ohio and the broader United States. Picture yourself contributing to accurate, timely imaging that guides critical treatment decisions, all while enjoying the chance to discover Ohio’s charm—from its small-town hospitality and riverfront charm to tranquil parks and scenic byways. Zanesville, Ohio serves as your primary assignment hub, offering a vibrant community backdrop, and the possibility to expand your experience to other locations nationwide, ensuring every work week brings new patient stories and new opportunities to grow.

Location benefits go beyond the clinic walls. Working in Zanesville provides the warmth of a close-knit community with access to cultural venues, dining, and outdoor recreation along the Scioto and Muskingum rivers. You’ll be able to enjoy Ohio’s varied beauty—seasonal festivals, state parks, and easy day trips to larger metro areas—while maintaining a robust professional pace. The role’s structure also gives you the flexibility to take advantage of assignments in other parts of Ohio or across the U.S., enabling you to explore diverse healthcare settings, broaden your clinical skills, and build a rich professional portfolio. Ohio is a tapestry of urban convenience and rural charm, with historical neighborhoods, nearby water views, and a population that values compassionate care. This backdrop sharpens your clinical judgment and deepens your connection to the communities you serve, while the broader travel aspect opens doors to facilities with advanced imaging modalities and collaborative teams.

In this Ultrasound Tech position, you’ll lead and support essential imaging services with responsibilities designed to sharpen your expertise and elevate patient outcomes. You’ll perform a full range of ultrasound procedures, including transabdominal, vascular, obstetric, and specialty imaging, ensuring clean, accurate images and meticulous documentation. You’ll collaborate with radiologists and physicians to interpret findings, communicate results clearly, and contribute to patient care plans. You’ll ensure patient safety, optimize machine settings, and adhere to QA protocols and regulatory standards. Your role will include scheduling coordination, image optimization, and timely submission of reports, all while maintaining the highest standards of patient-centered care. This assignment emphasizes professional growth—learning new techniques, expanding your repertoire across different imaging modalities, and refining your leadership and mentoring capabilities as you support junior staff and students. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a generous weekly rate (approximately $2,493–$2,560) and guaranteed hours of 40 per week, with the potential for extension to longer engagements and broader responsibilities as your skill set broadens. A bonus structure is in place to recognize excellence, along with housing assistance to ease transition and relocation. The program is designed to provide a stable, predictable workflow while inviting you to stretch your professional boundaries and pursue continued education and specialty certification.

Competitive benefits are a cornerstone of this opportunity. In addition to a steady weekly pay, you’ll have access to a signing or completion bonus that rewards your dedication and performance. Housing assistance helps you settle quickly and comfortably, enabling you to focus on clinical excellence from day one. Extension opportunities mean you can build a long-term relationship with the organization, expanding your scope of practice and taking on more complex imaging challenges as you gain experience. Expect comprehensive support throughout your assignment, including 24/7 assistance from a dedicated team that stands ready to help you navigate clinical, logistical, and personal needs while you travel with the company. This support network is designed to remove barriers so you can concentrate on patient care, professional development, and achieving your goals in a dynamic healthcare environment.

The company values empowering its staff, emphasizing clear pathways for career advancement and a supportive work atmosphere. You’ll be part of a culture that respects your expertise, welcomes your ideas, and provides ongoing mentorship and training opportunities. The organization champions a collaborative approach to patient care, encouraging open communication across departments and a shared commitment to excellence. Through structured performance feedback, access to continuing education, and opportunities to take on leadership roles within imaging departments, you’ll find a clear trajectory for growth. The environment is designed to be inclusive, respectful, and responsive to the needs of a diverse patient population and a diverse workforce, ensuring every team member can thrive while delivering compassionate, high-quality imaging services.

Ready to seize a compelling opportunity that values your talent and investment in patient care? This position invites you to start on March 9, 2026, with the chance to travel across the U.S., gain exposure to a variety of clinical settings, and develop a robust ultrasound skillset under excellent leadership and support. If you’re driven by clinical excellence, eager to expand your professional horizons, and want to be part of a company that prioritizes your growth and well-being, apply now. This is more than a job—it’s a pathway to broader experiences, stronger clinical capabilities, and a meaningful impact on patients’ lives. Join a team that recognizes your contributions and is committed to helping you advance your career while you explore new places and build lasting professional relationships.
