A Day in the Role

Your day begins by preparing CNC equipment, confirming job specs, and setting up tooling. You’ll run production with a focus on accuracy and throughput, keep a close eye on machine performance, and document what you produce. When a hiccup appears, you troubleshoot quickly and collaborate with the team to keep quality and efficiency on track—all while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Core Responsibilities

• Set up and run CNC machinery to produce parts that meet specified requirements and tolerances.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD data to plan and execute machining operations.
• Track machine performance during runs to uphold quality standards and production efficiency.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance and address basic equipment issues.
• Work closely with teammates to refine and improve processes.
• Keep the work cell organized and strictly follow safety procedures.
• Record production information and escalate discrepancies or issues promptly.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; a machining-related technical degree or certification is preferred.
• Hands-on experience as a CNC Machinist or in a closely related machining role.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, prints, and models.
• Solid understanding of CNC programming concepts and machine operation.
• Comfort working with standard machining equipment and tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong problem-solving ability.
• Capable of contributing independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Clear communicator with a can-do, positive outlook.
