Office Operations Specialist

As a Office Operations Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our driving and logistics team by ensuring the smooth and timely movement of freight in a fast-paced transportation setting. JOB DETAILS: FULL TIME, MON - FRI, 0800 START TIME. $20/HR, PAID WEEKLY. MEDICAL/DENTAL/VISION/LIFE/401K AFTER 90 DAYS. PTO AVAILABLE
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with drivers and internal teams via phone, email, and in-person
- Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve any issues or delays
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all shipments
- Utilize PC-based systems to track, update, and manage logistics information
- Assist with Dispatching and quotes
- Meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Support the overall efficiency and reliability of the overall operation
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in trucking or logistics is preferred
- Strong PC skills and ability to quickly learn new systems
- Excellent communication skills across phone, email, and face-to-face interactions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable, accurate, and able to meet tight deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and a willingness to learn
