What you’ll do at OhioMHAS :

  • Supervise psychology staff
  • Plan, develop, implement, and administer psychological programs
  • Establish procedures on delivery of psychological services
  • Research and write policies
  • Oversee administrative and clinical organization and operation of psychology services
  • Monitor quality and effectiveness of services provided by psychology staff
  • Consult with administration and staff
  • Attend meetings, conferences, and seminars
  • Formulate plans to implement education programs for psychology and hospital staff


This is an hourly position and is exempt from the bargaining units, with a pay range of #16 on the E1 Exempt Pay Range Schedule . Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm (Flexible Schedule/On call 24/7).

Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, the selected candidate will remain at Step 1 of the pay range schedule listed above, with an opportunity for pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.

Qualifications

License to practice psychology in Ohio pursuant to Section 4732.09 and 4732.21 of revised code; 12 mos. exp. as a licensed psychologist; 1 course in employee trg. & development or 3 mos. exp. providing work direction & training or supervision to psychology students, assistants, or psychologists.
