About Us:
Trust The Journey Academy is a private, therapeutically integrated K–8 school serving students with diverse learning needs, including autism, ADHD, developmental delays, emotional and behavioral challenges, and other exceptionalities. We believe every child deserves an education that meets them where they are — academically, socially, and emotionally — and empowers them to grow through compassionate, evidence-based instruction.
Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with state standards and student needs.
- Deliver differentiated instruction using evidence-based strategies and trauma-informed practices.
- Collaborate closely with Speech-Language, Occupational, and BCBA and RBTs to integrate therapeutic goals into daily learning.
- Collect data on academic and behavioral progress and communicate updates to families and districts.
- Support RBTs in implementing instructional strategies.
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff training, and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:

- Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license (or eligibility for licensure).
- Experience working with students with mild to intensive needs preferred.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching.
Why Join Trust The Journey:
- Small class sizes (6 students per class) for individualized attention.
- Multidisciplinary, team-based environment.
- Supportive leadership committed to professional growth.
