Drilling Assistant / Laborer – Rittman, OH

$25/ hr to start + Overtime | Temp-to-Hire | Travel Required and Provided

Crucial Link Staffing is hiring a Drilling Assistant for a reputable client in Rittman, OH . This role offers full-time hours, paid travel, food, and lodging, and the opportunity to grow into higher-paying positions within the company.

Job Details

• Pay: $25/hr to start — Overtime available (paid at time and a half)
• Schedule: Arrive in Rittman on Monday travel to jobsite - home by Friday - .40+ hours per week.
• Travel: Weekly travel within Ohio, Pennsylvania, or West Virginia
  • Company provides vehicle, lodging, and meal expenses
  • Report to the Rittman facility Monday mornings and return home Fridays
• Type: Temp-to-Hire — Eligible for raise and benefits once hired on
• Benefits (once hired): Medical, Dental, Vision, Uniforms, 401(k)

Responsibilities

• Assist driller in daily field operations, soil/rock sampling, and well installation
• Mobilize/demobilize rigs, handle drill pipe and tooling
• Use GPS or mobile apps to locate boring sites
• Follow all company safety procedures
• Perform shop/yard duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Clean criminal background and clean driving record (valid driver’s license required)
• Reliable transportation to Rittman, OH each Monday
• Willingness to travel weekly for work
• Ability to lift 50 lbs + and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Mechanical/technical aptitude
• Strong communication and basic math skills
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol tests
