About the Role:
As a CBRE Mobile Technician supporting a health care client in the Lorain, OH area , you will play a key role in maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable facilities. Working Monday through Friday on first shift, with participation in an on-call rotation, you will be responsible for performing repairs and providing maintenance across multiple buildings, industrial systems, equipment, and grounds.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed building systems, equipment, and facilities.
- Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
- Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs. Manage and track completion.
- Support energy management by taking measures to ensure that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner.
- Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety laws.
- Use communication skills to exchange straightforward information. Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
- Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
- Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
What You’ll Need:
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma or equivalent experience with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid Driver’s License required.
- Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
- Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
- Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive attitude.
- Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
- TB test and annual flu vaccination are required as part of employment.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Mobile Technician position is $21.15 per hour and the maximum salary for the Mobile Technician position is $25.00 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
