Custom Software Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Custom Software Engineer for a Contract with a client in Columbus, OH(Remote). Candidate must have strong Salesforce engineering capability with hands‑on experience in Apex, LWC, and Sales Cloud to qualify for this position.

Rate Range: $52/hour to $54/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Custom Software Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Develop Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, and Sales Cloud to support core platform enhancements.

• Execute individual development tasks, ensuring high‑quality code and adherence to SFDC best practices.

• Support Sales Cloud functionality by building custom components, workflows, and system configurations.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

• Troubleshoot issues within Apex classes, LWC components, and Sales Cloud features to ensure smooth operations.

• Optimize existing Salesforce implementations to improve performance and user experience.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a closely related technical field.

• 3–5 years of hands‑on Salesforce development experience in Apex, LWC, and Sales Cloud.

• Must have strong capability in Sales Cloud development with proven ability to deliver individual SFDC tasks.

• Having effective communication skills to collaborate with teams while functioning as an independent developer.

Pay Details: $52.00 to $54.00 per hour
