- The Logistics Coordinator reports to the Warehouse Manager
- Located in Cleveland, OH

- Manage the daily truck loading schedule for major DC locations, including obtaining quotes and ensuring appropriate equipment allocation for each load.
- Facilitate communication between sales and operations teams to provide logistical support as required.
- Assist with damage claims and completion of international paperwork in compliance with organizational policies and governmental regulations.
- Conduct negotiations with vendors for transactional truckload quotes and warehousing work for forward staged jobs.
- Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency as necessary to optimize logistics operations.
- Assist with distressed shipments by coordinating with third-party logistics providers (3PL) for resolution.
- Contribute to the creation of policies, procedures, and freight training programs to enhance operational efficiency.
- Train personnel from various departments in logistical best practices and cost-saving solutions.
- Maintain metrics, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), reports, process documentation, logs, and safety records.
- People-oriented, self-motivated, and flexible.
- Proficient in MS Office, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Demonstrated success in vendor negotiation.
- Detail-oriented, hands-on, and positive with a strong work ethic.
- Knowledge of UPS/FedEx service offerings and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and communication with 3PL transportation companies.
- Understanding of truckload and LTL tariff and logistics.
- 1 – 2 years of experience in logistics management, preferably in small package, LTL, and dedicated truck bookings, or equivalent military or practical experience.
- Experience with creating commercial invoices, certificates of origin, and SLIs for international shipments.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.
