Logistics Coordinator

Snider-Blake is looking for a Customer Captain Logistics/Shipping Coordinator for their client in the Bedford, OH area . The Customer Captain is responsible for coordinating product shipping and distribution through use of vendor portals and direct communication with the customer service team. This role ensures timely, accurate, and cost-effective transportation of goods, maintains shipping records, communicates with carriers and internal departments, and ensures compliance with all relevant shipping regulations and company policies.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Route and process orders on a daily basis.
• Navigate online vendor portals to route shipments accurately based on vendor requirements.
• Review bill of ladings, freight terms and LTL carriers as needed.
• Coordinate with dock associates and carriers to ensure timely shipment of products to customers.
• Collaborate with customer service to resolve issues, track down orders and expedite shipments when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with domestic and international shipping regulations.
• Available for overtime as needed.
• Participate in off-season projects throughout the DC.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent. College degree a plus.
• 1-2 years working in a warehouse setting.
• Microsoft Office experience.
• Previous experience with freight transportation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Organized, process, and detailed oriented a plus.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proven multi-tasking skills.
• Familiarity with freight, customs, and international shipping procedures a plus.
• OSHA and CT-PAT familiarity.
• Flexible scheduling around lunch and breaks

Work Environment : Distribution Center/Warehouse/Office

Details:

· Pay: Up to $21/hr

· Job Location: Bedford

· Shift: M-F 7A-3:30P +OT as needed
