Compensation: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 annually

Job Summary
As the Construction Manager I, II, III, you will ultimately be responsible for managing construction crews, overseeing field operations, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will coordinate construction activities, manage project resources, and support customer and stakeholder communications throughout project execution. As the Construction Manager I, II, III, your customers are internal construction teams, project managers, telecommunications clients, and utility providers, and you will make meaningful contributions to the company's success through operational leadership, project execution, and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to)
- Manage and coordinate the daily activities of assigned construction crews while ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.
- Train, mentor, evaluate, and develop Foremen and field personnel, including performance management and corrective actions when necessary.
- Coordinate project scheduling, material ordering, site planning, and customer communication with Project Managers and field teams.
- Monitor project budgets, production, milestones, invoices, work hours, As-Builts, closeout documentation, and overall project performance.
- Conduct field inspections to ensure work quality, regulatory compliance, and adherence to project specifications.
- Support recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of field personnel.
- Additional responsibilities within functional scope based on business needs.
Required Qualifications
Education, Licensing, and Certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- OSHA 30 Certification.
- CPR/First Aid Certification.
Experience
- Experience managing construction crews in underground and/or aerial telecommunications construction.
- Experience coordinating construction schedules, budgets, and field operations.
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
- Knowledge of aerial and underground utility construction methods.
- Ability to manage multiple construction projects while meeting schedules and budgets.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer relationship skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and construction management software.
- Ability to analyze budgets, project costs, estimates, and production metrics.
- Ability to interpret contracts, project documents, safety regulations, and technical specifications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HCSS HeavyBid or similar construction management software.
- Experience managing multiple crews and large-scale telecommunications construction projects.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, climb, push, pull, and perform physically demanding work for extended periods.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to safely work around heavy equipment, active construction sites, and moving vehicles.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses, and other required PPE.

- Leads large, complex, or high-profile construction projects and multiple field teams.
- Provides strategic leadership, mentoring, and operational direction across multiple projects.
- Serves as a subject matter expert for construction operations, customer relations, financial performance, and organizational development.
