Title: Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

Shift: 6am-2:30pm M-F, with overtime!

Salary: $30-$38/hr, depending on experience, plus bonus.

Who we are:

Our client is well established in the defense industry, located in Solon, Ohio. Focused on manufacturing military equipment, including specialized trailers for military applications, our client is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team and ensure all production equipment and the facility are safely maintained and functioning at optimal performance.

Manufacturing Maintenance Technician Role:

This non-union role is essential for maintaining the reliable, safe, and optimal operation of all production equipment and our manufacturing facility. The technician will be the primary resource for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of mechanical and electrical systems.

Facility/Equipment Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

Perform all work in a safe manner following company policies and safety regulations

Create equipment and building preventative maintenance programs and procedures

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance checks

Ensure daily reliable operation of the facility and production's support equipment like forklifts and air compressors

Troubleshoot and identify corrective action for electrical systems and mechanical equipment

Perform electrical repairs up to 3 phase 480 volts, including lighting, wiring, and circuit breakers

Complete basic carpentry, plumbing, and painting tasks, such as drywall repair, shelf installation, and faucet replacement

Aid in setting up service agreements for specialized equipment like HVAC

Manufacturing Maintenance Technician Reporting Relationships:

The candidate will report to the VP-Operations and will not have any reports.

About You:

Possess three to five years’ experience in facility and equipment maintenance

Have two to five years’ experience in machine troubleshooting and repair

Possess three to five years working as a mechanical technician within a manufacturing environment

Hold a valid driver’s license

Be able to read drawings and schematics

Safely operate hand tools and power tools

Perform all work in a safe manner, following company policies and safety regulations

Hold preferred electrical and plumbing certifications

Be a U.S. citizen
