Audit Manager - Government Services
About the Position

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple audit engagements from initiation to completion, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget compliance.
- Review workpapers, draft financial statements, and oversee the execution of audit procedures with precision.
- Act as a strategic advisor to clients, addressing complex accounting, reporting, and compliance issues.
- Develop strong client relationships and identify opportunities to expand services, contributing to the growth of the practice.
- Collaborate with firm leadership to understand client risks and serve as a liaison between clients and internal teams.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, with a preference for candidates with up to 14 years of experience.
- Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with government or public-sector clients, technical expertise in GASB standards, CPA certification, and prior supervisory experience.
