CNC Machinist/Programmer, lathe
People Architects is excited to partner with a precision machining services firm based in Solon, Ohio. We are seeking a highly experienced Large Part Programmer/Machinist.
We are seeking skilled CNC Machinists with experience in Fanuc control and a solid understanding of modern CNC turning centers , including steady rest , tail stock , and G-code . The ideal candidate will be responsible for the setup and operation of 2 to 5-axis turning machines and 3 to 5-axis machining centers . Knowledge of tooling and basic program troubleshooting is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC turning machines and machining centers.
- Ensure the proper configuration of tooling and machine parameters.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of programs and machining processes.
- Work on producing large, high-value, low-volume precision machined components (1 to 10 pieces).

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC machine setup and operation.
- Own tools required.
- Proficient in G-code, with CAD/CAM knowledge being a plus.
- Proven ability to read blueprints and interpret drawing features.
- Solid understanding of tool offsets.
- Ability to follow written instructions and procedures.
- Strong problem-solving and math skills.
Required Experience:
- 5+ years of CNC Setup/ Machining experience.
