Landscaping Account Manager
Job Title: Landscape Account Manager
Company Overview: We are a full-service landscape maintenance, and design/build firm serving residential and commercial clients across Northeast Ohio. With a strong reputation for quality, reliability, and customer service, we are seeking an experienced in person Account Manager to manage client relationships and drive operational success across all seasons, including winter snow and ice management. This is not a "Remote/Work from home" position.
• Client Relationship Management:
o Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts. including year-round landscape and winter snow/ice services.
o Proactively communicate with clients regarding schedules, services, and project updates.
o Respond promptly to client needs, questions, and concerns. • Contract & Service Management:
o Ensure all contracted services are completed on time and to the highest standards.
o Conduct regular property walks with clients to review performance, identify issues, and recommend improvements and enhancements.
o Prepare proposals for enhancements, seasonal plantings, irrigation work, and winter snow contracts.
o Serve as liaison for larger design/build projects. • Operational Coordination:
o Work closely with operations managers and crew leaders to ensure services are delivered efficiently.
o Monitor crew performance and provide feedback as needed.
o Assist with scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation for both landscaping and snow operations. • Winter Snow & Ice Management:
o Assist in planning, preparing, and managing snow and ice removal operations, including staffing and equipment readiness.
o Serve as an on-call contact during snow events to coordinate with crews and communicate with clients.
o Monitor weather forecasts, track storm progress, and adjust service plans accordingly.
o Document services performed and address any client concerns post-event. • Financial Performance:
o Manage account budgets and track profitability.
o Identify and pursue upselling opportunities to increase revenue per account.
o Participate in annual contract renewals and client retention efforts. • Leadership & Teamwork:
o Support and motivate field crews to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

• 3+ years of experience in account management, sales, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance, horticulture, irrigation, and enhancement services preferred (but not required).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to build client relationships.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; landscape management software experience is a plus.
• Degree in horticulture, landscape management, business, or related field preferred (but not required).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Ability and knowledge to identify various plants, shrubs, and other herbaceous plants as well as weeds, pests, insects, diseases, moss, and plant disorders to be able to answer customer’s questions and suggest corrective actions.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Ability to interpret and communicate a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
• Intermediate personal computer skills, including electronic mail, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence’s
