Registered Nurse – Med Surg, Travel assignment in Zanesville, Ohio. Start date 07/20/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,878–$1,981 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour days (7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.), with every-other weekend. Work setting: clinic-based Med-Surg unit with occasional float to other Med-Surg units.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on the Med-Surg unit, with responsibilities that may include telemetry monitoring, wound care, vital sign assessment, and administration of medications.
- Read and interpret telemetry data; respond to changes in patient status; collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans.
- Document care and interventions in the Epic EMR accurately and promptly; ensure charting meets facility standards.
- Facilitate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges; coordinate with physicians, case management, and ancillary staff.
- Float to various Med-Surg units as needed (e.g., Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, ED/Med-Surg borders) while maintaining high-quality care and patient safety.
- Adhere to the facility’s policies, standards of care, and performance expectations; participate in on-unit or system-wide quality and safety initiatives.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience; able to read Telemetry; competency tested on day one.
- Epic EMR proficiency required; refresher classes or 1:1 sit-final training not available.
- Ability to work Day shift (7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.) with every-other weekend; willingness to float to other Med-Surg units as needed.
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at submission and included on the confirmation page to be honored.
- Start date must align exactly with the stated date; end date and RTO details must mirror the confirmation page.
