Test Lead - IT Applications

We are seeking an experienced Test Lead – IT Applications (SAP Finance) to join a high-performing Test Management Organization. In this role, you will lead end-to-end testing efforts, drive quality assurance strategies, and ensure successful delivery of enterprise-level SAP projects. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to validate system functionality and ensure alignment with business requirements.

• Pay range :$55/hr on w2 to $60/hr on w2

Responsibilities:

• Lead testing activities for large enterprise projects or multiple smaller initiatives, including test strategy, planning, and status reporting.

• Develop comprehensive test plans in collaboration with developers, business analysts, product owners, and project managers.

• Oversee test execution, defect management, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and timelines.

• Provide leadership and direction to manual testing teams across projects.

• Assist in onboarding and mentoring testers.

• Allocate and manage resources based on project priorities, risks, and team strengths.

• Drive testing issues to resolution, escalating when necessary.

• Communicate effectively with IT and business stakeholders through formal and informal channels.

• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities within QA practices.

• Apply data-driven analysis to support decision-making.

• Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining high-quality output.

• Lead and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Required Qualifications:

• 5–10 years of experience in SAP testing, including SAP CAR, with proven test leadership experience.

• Strong knowledge of SAP modules such as SD, MD, Finance, and BW.

• Experience working on SAP projects, preferably within the retail domain.

• Experience leading projects with integrations across POS, Web, OMS, Financial, and Data Warehouse systems.

• Solid understanding of Software Development Lifecycle methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Iterative).

• Experience managing projects across multiple teams and applications (Omnichannel, Warehouse Management, Reporting).

• Experience working in an onshore/offshore delivery model.

• Hands-on experience with testing tools such as HP ALM, JIRA, or similar.

• Strong organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.
