Maintenance Tech

Job Description Summary

• Three to five years’ experience in skilled or semi-skilled maintenance required
• Electrical knowledge / training and electrical machine repair preferred
• Familiarity with CNC machinery (Okuma, Fanuc, Siemens) is preferred

Job Description:

• Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as well as equipment installation
• Duties would include, but not limited to, electrical, hydraulic/pneumatic repair, building and machinery maintenance and fabrication
• Strong electrical/mechanical aptitude is required
• Must be dependable and safety oriented
• Knows and understands Quality System requirements
• Must be flexible in working hours including overtime, holidays, and different shifts as required

Required Skills and Education

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic skills: critical thinking, reading comprehension, electrical print reading, blue print reading, communication
• Good interpersonal skills
• Complex problem solving skills: problem identification, information gathering, information organizing, idea generation, idea evaluation
• Technical skills: programming, troubleshooting, operation monitoring, testing
• Working knowledge of techniques, materials, tools and equipment used in machinery maintenance
• Formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience
• Strong computer skills necessary
• Must be shift flexible
• Ability to work well with others
• Good attendance
• Negative pre-employment and random drug test
