What: We are looking for caregivers to help care for clients (mainly fragile, ill, disabled, and/or elderly), one-on-one, in their homes. It's because of people like you, our elderly community members are able to spend the remainder of their days where they want to be: in the comfort & familiarity of their own homes. We hire State Tested Nursing Aides (STNAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), Medical Assistants (MAs), Personal Care Assistants (PCAs), nursing students, retired nurses, retirees (from any field), empty-nesters, *OR* anyone else with a heart & desire to care for others, who are willing to learn & become a professional caregiver. We will take you under our wings & train you! When: Short shift, long shifts, morning shifts, afternoon shifts, evening shifts, part-time hours or full-time hours. We currently have them all! Where: Clients are located throughout the eastern Eastern Cuyahoga, Lake, Geauga, Northern Portage and Northern Summit Counties but we are especially in need of caregivers for our clients in Lake County. Qualifications

• 18 years or age or older
• Valid driver's license and a vehicle
• Pass a criminal background check
• Covid-19 vaccination (encouraged but not required)
• Caregiving training &/or certifications, such as STNA, CNA, HHA, MA, PCA, etc. (preferred but not required)
• Willing to drive to clients' homes up to 30 minutes away
• The ability to work independently
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability and willingness to complete online continuing education training classes
• Reliability: Professionalism and discipline to arrive to clients' homes, on time, every time

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and hygiene assistance, such as showering, bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing
• Remind clients to take prescribed medication and assist them with monitoring vitals
• Help with mobility around the house or outside the home (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Plan and prepare meals and/or assist with feeding
• Run errands for the client or accompany them to successfully do so
• Keep the clients engaged in favorite activities and conversation
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Light housekeeping
