Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
• Active Ohio Occupational Therapist License
• NBCOT certification
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience is a plus, though not required
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations for students referred for services
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services, collaborating closely with teachers, special education staff, and families
• Recommend appropriate classroom accommodations, adaptive equipment, and environmental modifications
• Document sessions, progress notes, and participate in Medicaid billing as needed
• Take part in IEP meetings and team discussions to support holistic student care
• Regularly monitor student progress and adjust strategies as necessary
• Offer training and guidance for staff and families to enhance student learning
