POSITION PURPOSE: The Lead Community Engagement Specialist plays a key role in supporting client wellness, empowerment, and connection to behavioral health services through community-based programming. This position is responsible for both direct service delivery and the leadership and supervision of the Community Engagement Specialist team. The Lead ensures consistent implementation of engagement strategies, supports quality and compliance standards, and promotes a collaborative, client-centered culture aligned with the organization's mission and values.
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, specific hours may vary depending on client needs.

Experience Required:
- 2-3 years of experience working with youth or in a community-based setting required
- Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
- 1 year of supervisory experience required
- Ability to remain calm in high-stress or challenging situations
- Must have acceptable driving record
- Must have active driver's license and auto insurance
Knowledge and Training Required at Time of Hire:
- Typing speed of at least 40 wpm
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- CPR/First Aid certification (able to receive after hire)
- Crisis Intervention Training
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, child development, and family systems
- Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel locally to client homes
- Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, or weekends, if needed.
