Job Description
The Engineering Intern supports engineering teams with project execution, data analysis, process improvement activities, and hands-on learning within relevant engineering disciplines. The role focuses on building technical competency and leadership while contributing to real operational and engineering initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Assist engineering partners with preparation, execution, and follow-up on assigned engineering projects.
• Support data collection, analysis, and documentation for engineering studies and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in equipment evaluations, workflow assessments, and root-cause investigations.
• Perform clerical and organizational tasks such as note-taking, maintaining files, and preparing reports.
• Engage in hands-on activities associated with engineering rotations and process improvement trials.
• Learn and apply relevant engineering standards, safety guidelines, and company policies.
Skills/Qualifications
Required:
• High school diploma/GED
• Is a second year, third-year or senior in college or is currently pursuing a master’s degree or higher
• Pursing a degree in an Engineering-related major
• Coursework in Engineering, Statistics, Manufacturing Processes/Systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook) and intranet/internet
