Diesel Mechanic

In this dynamic mechanic/technician role, you will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of equipment to ensure the safest and most effective operation. The fleet primarily includes aerial work platforms, general construction tools, and equipment, with some locations featuring large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas-related equipment.

• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment runs efficiently and safely.
• Conduct diagnostics to accurately identify equipment issues.
• Execute repairs on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Work with a variety of tools and equipment, including aerial work platforms and construction tools.
• Possibly handle large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas equipment.

• 3 to 5 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment.
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
• May need to provide mechanic’s tools of the trade.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
