Job Description :

Analyst - IT III positions offered by First Solar, Inc. (Perrysburg, OH). Provide IT implementation services and technical support for company's Finance applications. Analyze business processes, identify alternative solutions, assess feasibility, and recommend new approaches. Perform investigative work to determine business requirements and specify effective business processes through improvements in information systems, information management, practices, procedures, and organization change. Manage selection/creation of relevant scenarios for testing and ensure that tests reflect realistic operational business conditions. Create business readiness plans, taking into consideration IT deployment, data migration, capability deployment and any business activities required to integrate new processes or jobs into the "business as usual" environment. Apply data analysis, data modeling, and quality assurance techniques to establish, modify or maintain data structures and associated components. Report on system quality and collect metrics on test cases. Develop implementation plans for dealing with complex requests for change, evaluate inherent risks to infrastructure integrity from proposed implementations, review the effectiveness of change implementation, and suggest improvement to organizational procedures governing change management.

Minimum Requirements :

• Requires a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and 5 years of experience utilizing finance and accounting systems and business best practices (Accounts Receivables, Cash MGMT, and Tax) to support business operations.
• Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:
• Implementing and supporting Oracle Finance systems and business processes;
• Supporting business reporting requirements with Operational Data Store (ODS) processes, including master data;
• Developing projects from conception to implementation using a mix of internal, external and off-shore resources;
• Implementing roll out upgrades, enhancements and code changes;
• Defining functional specifications and testing system integrations to develop programs to move data across Oracle cloud or third-party applications;
• Writing reports and queries from multiple data sources to drive end-user reporting abilities;
• Documenting processes, specifications and work instructions; and
• Training end-users on operating finance applications.
• Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
• Position reports to Perrysburg, Ohio office. Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy, but must live within commuting distance of stated office.
