This 11-week summer internship is designed for senior undergraduate, Master’s or PhD students seeking exposure to a professional, corporate environment. The internship is project-based, with each intern assigned one clearly defined project aligned to the hosting department’s priorities.

The role emphasizes learning, skill development, and practical application of academic knowledge while contributing to meaningful work.

Internship Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Public Relations & Communications Intern to support a fast-paced, strategic Global Communications team. This internship offers hands-on experience across media relations, corporate communications, content development and digital storytelling, providing exposure to how a global organization communicates to its internal and external stakeholders, and shapes and protects its reputation.

The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, an excellent writer, and eager to learn how communications drives business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of internal and external communications initiatives

  • Lead on the ground, events-based celebrations and recognition campaigns

  • Draft, edit and proofread content including press materials, internal announcements, executive talking points and social media copy

  • Assist with media list development, research, and tracking outreach activity

  • Support content planning for digital and social channels, including brainstorming and scheduling

  • Help maintain communications calendars and archives

  • Participate in team meetings, project planning and cross-functional collaborations

  • Assist with special projects related to corporate reputation, employer branding and thought leadership

Minimum Requirements:

  • Senior undergraduate, Master’s, or PhD student at time of internship in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English or a related field

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); familiarity with digital and social platforms preferred

  • Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information with professionalism

  • Interest in corporate communications, media relations and brand storytelling

Conversion Opportunity:

Interns who demonstrate strong performance, skill alignment and cultural fit may be considered for full-time employment following the program, based on business needs and role availability.
