Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent medical/surgical nursing experience
• Recent Epic EMR experience (within the last year)
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• Ability to float to other units as needed
• Flexible schedule required (no block scheduling accommodated)

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with medical and surgical needs
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding promptly to changes in patient status
• Care for patients undergoing procedures in general surgery, urology, women’s health, gynecology, oncology, plastics, ENT, trauma, orthopedics, and spinal/neuro overflow
• Deliver specialized care for women with obstetrical issues, including intra-uterine fetal demise, preeclampsia, substance withdrawal, and diabetic pregnancies
• Thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment, managing changing patient assignments throughout your shift
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and adhere to hospital policies and procedures
