SUMMARY

We’re looking for a sharp, driven, and collaborative Senior Digital Product Manager to join our Columbus team.

This position plays a hybrid role across product ownership, client leadership, and cross-functional team management – overseeing the creation of digital experiences and tools for healthcare, life sciences, and other regulated industry clients. This position will also partner closely with our internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure our digital solutions are scalable, compliant, user-centered, and aligned with both business and scientific goals.

This is a hybrid work from home/office position (in-office attendance is required on Tuesdays & Thursdays) and the candidate must live near Columbus, OH.

At The Shipyard, we know that it's your unique talents, backgrounds, and perspectives that make you who you are, just like our team, who come from various career paths and experiences. We believe we can't be truly diverse without bringing your most authentic self to the agency.

Studies show that people from marginalized communities may not always apply for positions if they don't meet every single requirement in a job posting. At The Shipyard, we encourage you to apply even if you don't meet all the requirements. We believe that your passion for what we stand for — our values and purpose — is just as important as meeting every checkbox.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the digital future of our healthcare and life sciences clients, ensuring every solution delivers real-world impact. Your day-to-day will include the following:

Product & Delivery Leadership

  • Define and maintain product roadmaps in close collaboration with clients, aligning digital platforms and tools with innovation, patient engagement, and business objectives
  • Lead end-to-end delivery across multiple workstreams, including requirements gathering, sprint planning, QA coordination, and release management
  • Translate complex business challenges into scalable, sustainable digital solutions that balance usability, compliance, and performance

Stakeholder & Client Engagement

  • Serve as a delivery lead and point of contact for key accounts, managing relationships across business, clinical, and technology stakeholders
  • Drive client satisfaction, retention, and program success by ensuring consistent, transparent communication and high-quality execution
  • Support account planning, forecasting, and billing

Technical & Operational Oversight

  • Oversee cross-functional teams of designers, developers, strategists, and QA to deliver integrated solutions that meet accessibility, security, and regulatory requirements
  • Guide integration efforts with enterprise platforms, third-party tools, and internal data systems
  • Proactively manage risks, issues, and interdependencies across projects

Growth & Strategy

  • Develop and deliver clear reporting for clients, including roadmaps, KPIs, and status updates that support strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate with business development and strategy leads to identify new opportunities, craft proposals, and expand existing engagements

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • 3–5 years of experience in digital product management, delivery, or consulting, ideally within healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries
  • Proven success delivering complex digital products with cross-disciplinary teams
  • Strong understanding of the digital product lifecycle—from discovery to deployment
  • Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, sprint planning, and QA/testing workflows
  • Proficiency with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Miro, and Figma
  • Ability to switch between strategic thinking and detail-oriented execution
  • Comfort working with technical teams and understanding modern tech stacks
  • Experience scoping and prioritizing product features in collaboration with both business and technical teams
  • A proactive, positive, team-first attitude

WHAT YOU’LL GET

  • The overall target range of base compensation for this role is $75,000 - $95,000. Compensation offered will be determined by additional factors such as location and experience
  • Open PTO
  • Flexible work hours and remote work
  • Paid holidays + holiday closure between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day
  • Company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Life insurance and disability benefits
  • 401k program with employer matching
  • 6 weeks paid parental leave
  • Employee bonus referrals
  • Company-provided snacks and beverages (yes, beer/wine included)
  • … and lots more!

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for visa sponsorship
