Litigation Secretary

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School Responsibilities
- Expert E-Filing: Handle high-stakes electronic filings via File & ServeXpress (Chancery/Superior) and CM/ECF (Federal).
- Rules Compliance: Ensure all filings strictly adhere to the Rules of the Court of Chancery (e.g., Rule 3(aa) verifications and Chambers' courtesy copies).
- Document Production: Format complex briefs, motions, and praecipes; generate Tables of Contents and Authorities.
- Docketing & Calendaring: Proactively track deadlines, hearing dates, and discovery timelines.
- Trial Prep: Coordinate hearing binders, "Chambers Copies," and trial exhibits.
- Admin Support: Manage attorney time entry, billing pre-bills, and travel logistics.
- DE Expertise: 3–5 years of litigation experience in a Delaware firm or Chancery-heavy practice.
- Technical Mastery: Advanced MS Word (Styles/Formatting) and experience with Document Management Systems (e.g., iManage).
- Precision: Exceptional proofreading skills and the ability to manage expedited "Chancery time" deadlines.
- Professionalism: Polished communication for interaction with Court Clerks and Judicial Assistants.
