We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets
- Maintain accurate financial records and perform monthly reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Oversee payroll administration and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and potential risks
- Assist with financial audits and reviews, collaborating with external auditors as required
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance
- Provide support and guidance to other departments on financial matters
- Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in accounting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CGA, or CMA) preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting requirements
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
