What You’ll Do

Maintenance & Repair

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems.

• Service equipment including screw chillers, centrifugal chillers, industrial cooling towers, boilers, and large air handling units.

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure system reliability and efficiency.

Installation & Retrofit

• Install new industrial HVAC systems during construction and retrofit projects.

• Perform rigging, piping, ductwork installation, and system startups.

• Support facility upgrades and infrastructure improvements.

Controls & Automation

• Operate, configure, and troubleshoot Direct Digital Controls (DDC) systems.

• Manage and optimize Energy Management Systems (EMS) for performance and efficiency.

• Analyze system data to improve reliability and energy usage.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal codes and standards.

• Follow OSHA and company safety protocols at all times.

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.

Documentation

• Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, refrigerant usage, and system performance.

• Document preventative maintenance activities and compliance requirements.

What You Bring

Technical Expertise

• Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, industrial electrical systems, hydronic systems, and pneumatics.

• Experience with large-scale commercial or industrial HVAC equipment.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and piping diagrams.

Certifications & Licensing

• EPA Certification for refrigerant handling (required).

• Journeyman-level HVAC license preferred or required based on local regulations.(preferred)

Professional Skills

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety compliance.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying temperature conditions.

• Capable of lifting and maneuvering heavy equipment and materials.
