We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team at Alpine Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Xenia, OH. As a COTA, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve independence and reach their rehabilitation goals.
About the Role:
As a COTA at Alpine Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, you will work closely with our occupational therapy team to provide high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting occupational therapists in the implementation of treatment plans
Conducting therapy sessions with patients, focusing on activities of daily living, fine motor skills, and cognitive rehabilitation
Developing and modifying treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
Maintaining accurate records and documentation of patient progress
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements:
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in occupational therapy or related field preferred
Minimum 0 years of experience in occupational therapy or a related field
Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients as needed
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
