Reliability Engineer
- Establish standards and act as a point of contact for our Enterprise Asset Management software (Maximo)
- Assess/identify opportunities to improve the equipment reliability, recommend solutions, and manage implementation. These opportunities will be a combination of, but not limited to, equipment installation, equipment set-up instructions, operation/utilization of the equipment, maintenance procedures, maintenance servicing issues, spare parts, reducing MTTR, etc.
- Develop and track key maintenance metrics and reporting
- Review manufacturing manuals, technical drawings, and documents, and work closely with shop floor technicians and engineers to develop detailed job plans for equipment maintenance
- Create and manage assets, ensuring accurate records and effective asset utilization
- Deliver exceptional customer service by prioritizing tasks based on customer and maintenance supervisor inputs
- Continuously improve job plans, preventive maintenance (PM) processes, and overall maintenance planning and scheduling strategies
- Provide coaching and training to the maintenance team on system functionality and execution to enhance performance and efficiency
- Maintain a strong presence on the shop floor, ensuring accessibility and support for all employees
- Foster a positive and respectful work environment, promoting collaboration and teamwork across all levels of the organization
- Communicate organizational achievements, team successes, and challenges to leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve problems and deliver solutions that meet customer expectations
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in maintenance, manufacturing, engineering or operations)
- 3 years of maintenance, manufacturing, operations, engineering or operations
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both written and verbally
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience working in a unionized work environment
- Experience working with Maximo or other EAM software
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite
- Strong conflict management skills
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities
