Job Title: Marketing & Sales Intern
Location: Frazeysburg, OH and Pataskala, OH
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Salary: Paid Internship; Competitive pay rate (Depending upon candidate's education and other professional experience)
Job Summary:
Ridge Corporation is a solutions-driven manufacturing company that brings concepts to life through the application of composites and advanced materials. Our Sales Team is looking for a Marketing & Sales Intern to join our team for a summer internship. The Marketing & Sales intern will be expected to function as a member of our sales team and will gain an understanding of the sales process within a manufacturing environment. Throughout this internship, interns will be challenged to grow as Ridge teammate and a professional.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities include the following :
- Participate in sales meetings and customer interactions
- Assist in the creation of marketing reports and presentations.
- Maintain and update the sales manager with accurate data.
- Contribute to the development of marketing collateral (e.g., brochures, presentations).
- Support the preparation of sales presentations and proposals.
- Research potential clients and market segments.
- Provide administrative support to the sales team.
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify opportunities
- Perform typing, emailing, filing, faxing, copying, mailing, and answering telephones
- Travel will be required

- Pursuing a Business-related Degree at an accredited university
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- The ability to multitask and prioritize is critical
- Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism
- Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
- Good applied interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Adequate transportation is required
Workplace Experience: Previous sales exposure in a manufacturing experience is preferred.
Ergonomic Requirements:
- Ability to Stand for Long Periods of Time
- Ability to push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 25 lbs.
