Packaging Specialist
Job Summary
The Packaging Specialist prepares metal products for shipment by safely packaging, labeling, and staging materials according to instructions. This is an entry-level role ideal for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Package metal products using pallets, crates, wrap, and banding
- Follow work orders and basic packaging instructions
- Inspect products for damage before packaging
- Label and prepare materials for shipment
- Keep work area clean and follow safety guidelines
- Assist with loading and staging shipments as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- No prior experience required; training provided
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely
- Basic math and attention to detail
