Compensation: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00

Overview

Responsibilities
• Plan, direct, and manage the Ideation marketing activities for the Emergency Response Systems (ERS) business, including strategic and tactical initiatives.
• Ensure program(s) are identified, justified, specified, developed, launched, and marketed worldwide within budgeted objectives, focusing on profitability and growth.
• Collaborate closely with R&D within the companies to deliver innovation that meets unmet customer needs and drives business growth.
• Provide leadership during product development from discovery to delivery, ensuring compliance with relevant global standards.
• Coordinate activities between engineering, regulatory, and sales teams to ensure product compliance for intended markets.
• Guide the commercialization process, including value proposition development, pricing guidelines, sales promotion, and distribution strategies with global teams.
• Develop strategic plans including market trend analysis, order, margin, and unit forecasts, competitive assessments, and gap analysis.
• Collect and analyze competitive information including product literature and pricing strategies.
• Drive continuous product improvement regarding quality and functionality to achieve “best in class” products across market segments.
• Implement corrective actions when necessary to optimize product rationalization.
• Ensure global product test standard compliance and certification documentation.
• Provide sales support by answering questions and resolving customer or dealer issues.
• Participate in customer visits and sales training, acting as the subject matter expert.
• Develop relationships with industry thought leaders and organizations, including participation on global vehicle safety boards.
• Facilitate Voice of the Customer and Customer Preference Testing activities as appropriate.

Requirements
• Undergraduate degree in Engineering or Business, Engineering preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience in product management, engineering, marketing, or innovation with successful programs.
• At least three years of experience in Voice of the Customer and Customer Preference Testing.
• Solid understanding of FDA and ISO process controls and requirements.
• Ability to create and analyze financial models such as NPV, Payback, and IRR.
• Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent in a second language preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and handle multiple projects.
• Strong product affinity and results orientation.
• Experience with prolonged sitting, stooping, bending, standing, and coordination of hand/eye/foot movements as required.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% annually.
