Director of Business Development: Full-Time-Salaried Position

**Position Overview:**
The Director of Business Development will be responsible for driving strategic growth opportunities across existing and new markets. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong business acumen and a proven track record in developing and implementing successful business development strategies. The ideal candidate will possess excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.

**Key Responsibilities:**

Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to grow census, payer mix, and service line utilization.

· Identify, build, and maintain strong relationships with key referral sources, including hospitals, physician groups, home health agencies, hospice providers, and senior service organizations.

· Actively participate in networking events, health fairs, and community outreach efforts to promote the facility.

· Collaborate with the admissions and clinical teams to ensure smooth, timely, and appropriate admissions.

· Analyze market trends and referral data to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth.

· Coordinate marketing and branding efforts, including print materials, digital campaigns, and in-person presentations.

· Monitor and report on business development activities, referral patterns, competitor activity, and return on marketing efforts.

· Maintain an up-to-date referral source database and utilize CRM tools to track outreach and engagement.

· Provide education to referral sources on the facility’s clinical capabilities, specialized programs, and post-acute care services.

· Support census development goals by targeting specific service lines, such as short-term rehab, memory care, or managed care admissions.

· Assist with coordination of facility tours and meetings with prospective residents and families.

· Any other duties as assigned by Administrator or Regional Director of Business Development.

**Qualifications:**

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred.

· Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare marketing, business development, or admissions—preferably in long-term care or post-acute/skilled nursing.

· Skills: Proven success in building referral relationships and increasing market share. Strong understanding of the healthcare continuum, Medicare/Medicaid, managed care, and discharge planning. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

· Additional Certifications: Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for daily hospital visits
