We have an immediate need for a temporary Associate Sensory Technician s upport to help with sensory testing lab needs, including planning, preparation, execution & inventory management.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conducts sensory testing to support Sensory Analyst according to the direction of the Sensory Manager
• Learn to create sensory programs utilizing sensory software.
• Prepare, recruit, and execute booth tests.
• Supports the Sensory Panel leader in preparing and executing descriptive analysis panels.
• Perform routine sensory duties and maintain a clean and professional working environment.
• Provides compounding support and creates standards and samples to support sensory initiatives, affiliate requests and customer requests.
• Help maintain and organize sensory references.
• Help maintain panelist incentive and panelist motivation program.
• Help maintain sensory lab inventory and purchase lab items on a weekly basis.
• Other duties in support of company objectives

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Understanding safe work and laboratory processes and practices
• Mixing and measuring skills
• Strong mathematical skills, with ability to do weight conversions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be open-minded and willing to taste all products that will be evaluated.
• Must be detail oriented, organized, and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Self-motivated, forward thinking problem solver with a highly professional demeanor.
• Time Management with the ability to perform well under tight deadlines.
• Computer experience, with emphasis on Microsoft Office applications

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Be able to lift 25 lbs.
