Tree Planting & Delivery Crew Member

Strader’s Garden Centers, a locally owned Ohio business with a long-standing reputation for quality plants and excellent service, is seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our Tree Planting & Delivery Crew. This hands-on, outdoor role is ideal for those who enjoy staying active, working as part of a team, and helping customers transform their outdoor spaces. Crew members are responsible for delivering and installing trees, shrubs, and landscape materials for customers, as well as supporting the maintenance of our nursery areas. Responsibilities

• Prepare and load trucks with trees, shrubs, and landscape materials for delivery
• Transport products safely to residential and store locations
• Assist with digging, planting, and positioning trees and shrubs at customer sites
• Move inventory between store locations as needed
• Perform routine vehicle checks to ensure safe operation
• Represent Strader’s Garden Centers professionally when interacting with customers
• Maintain organization and appearance of outdoor plant and nursery areas
• Assist with watering, spacing, and general plant care
• Support customers with basic questions or direct them to appropriate staff

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn to operate delivery trucks with attached trailers
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform repetitive outdoor tasks
• Comfortable working in varying weather conditions
• Dependable, team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist where needed
• Availability that may include weekends during peak seasons
• Helpful but not required: Experience planting trees, shrubs, or working in landscaping
• Helpful but not required: Familiarity with plant types and basic care
• Helpful but not required: Experience driving larger trucks or towing trailers
