Utility Technician
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Properly loading and securing equipment and materials per Green Impressions standards.
· Deliver materials and equipment to job sites, following all safety and legal requirements as it pertains to properly securing loads.
· Run equipment on job sites as necessary.
· Work on jobsite projects as needed.
· Perform Snow Plowing & Ice Control services.
· Assist with shop/yard maintenance as needed.
· Miscellaneous errands.
· May perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required Licenses, Certifications and Registrations:
· Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A) required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA):
· Ability to pass background and drug screening.
Physical, Mental and Visual Demands:
· Pushing or pulling of various landscaping equipment and materials.
· Safely operate hand and power equipment.
· Lift and carry up to 50 pounds using proper body mechanics.
· Push, pull, grip and squeeze various tools, products and/or items.
· Walk up to 5 miles a day, sometimes uphill and on uneven terrain, often while carrying, pushing or pulling equipment, materials or debris.
· Bend and kneel up to 9 hours or more a day.
Working Conditions:
· Work hours vary and may exceed 10 hours per day.
· Work in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, precipitation).
· Noise level may be loud at times and use of ear protection may be required.
