SUMMARY: Ensures delivery of excellent customer service through fast and accurate processing of orders, communication, and coordinating with other departments to resolve inquiries in conjunction with other administrative, and data-entry responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Requires thorough knowledge and understanding of process flow to ensure orders released to production are following customer contract and Company proposal, production schedules, required operations, required materials, and/or outside services is complete, accurate, and well-organized.
- Prepare reports, memos, letters, quotes, sales orders, and other documents, using Microsoft Office Suite, and various ERP systems.
- Knowledge of administrative procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files, and records, transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
- Receives incoming calls and correspondence and directs them to the appropriate personnel/department.
- Read and analyze incoming memos, submissions, and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
- Coordinate and assist with special projects and events as needed.
- Audits quotes against purchase orders research discrepancies and approves for submittal to shop. Check data accuracy in orders.
- Validate customer request and Company capabilities are in alignment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, AND PROFICIENCIES:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Associate degree in a related field is also preferred.
- Previous customer service experience is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal skills with the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
- Friendly, helpful, confident, and engaging personality.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, to include Outlook, Word, Excel, and the willingness to learn other software packages as required.
- Experience with ERP systems, business or industry related experience with metals, fabrication, construction, and/or grating manufacturing company is preferred.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the essential duties of this job the employee may be required to go onto the production floor. The work environment requires the use of Proper Protective Equipment (PPE) when on the production floor.
