Accounts Payable Specialist Details:

• Contract position
• $26.00 to $32.00 /hour
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:30am to 05:00pm)

Job Details

• Manage and respond to inquiries in the Accounts Payable general mailbox, ensuring timely and accurate communication with vendors and internal stakeholders
• Monitor the end-to-end invoice processing workflow to ensure invoices are received, validated, and paid in accordance with company policy and payment terms
• Assist with Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt (GR/IR) reconciliation, investigating mismatches between purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
• Collaborate with local site or departmental personnel to resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure proper documentation and coding for approval
• Track and follow up on pending invoices to prevent delays in payment and maintain strong vendor relationships
• Support month-end and year-end close activities related to Accounts Payable

Accounts Payable Specialist Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• 2–3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
• Strong Excel skills
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
