Job Title: IT Support Technician

Location-Type: Onsite (5 days/week in Wilmington, DE)

Start Date: April 15th or ASAP

Duration: Contract through the end of the year (potential to extend)

Compensation Range: $27-32/hr on W2 ONLY!

Job Description:
Provide onsite IT support to business users and executives, troubleshooting hardware, software, network connectivity, and mobility issues across a corporate office environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on IT support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals

• Troubleshoot Windows operating systems and Office 365 applications

• Support Teams, SharePoint, and other enterprise collaboration tools

• Assist with network connectivity issues and basic switch troubleshooting

• Provide executive-level support with professionalism and strong customer service

• Manage and resolve incidents and service requests through a ticketing system

• Support printers, scanners, and other office peripherals

• Assist with device setup, onboarding, and offboarding tasks

• Document troubleshooting steps and solutions for knowledge sharing

• Provide occasional cross-site and remote support when required

Requirements:

• Must-Haves:

  • 3–5 years of IT support or desktop support experience

  • Strong troubleshooting skills across network, PC, mobility, and applications

  • Experience supporting Windows 10/11 environments

  • Experience with Office 365, Teams, and SharePoint

  • Basic networking knowledge (understanding switches, connectivity, and troubleshooting)

  • Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with executive stakeholders

  • Ability to confidently troubleshoot technical issues and clearly communicate solutions

• Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems

  • Experience supporting manufacturing, lab, or R&D environments

  • Familiarity with scientific or instrument-connected systems

  • Strong documentation and knowledge base contribution habits
