About Us:
Low FODMAP Meals is an early stage, innovative startup in the Cincinnati metro area dedicated to improving the lives of people with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) through chef-prepared, gut-friendly meals. Our mission is to provide delicious, medically tailored, low FODMAP-compliant meals backed by clinical science and crafted with culinary creativity.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead all aspects of operations. In this executive role, you will drive the end-to-end operational strategy – from supply chain and procurement of ingredients, to kitchen production logistics and fulfillment. The ideal candidate has experience in a regulated food industry business, is able to design scalable processes, build and manage teams, and roll up their sleeves to solve problems in a fast-paced startup environment. Qualifications:

• Industry Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Operations Management, Food Science, Business, etc.) or equivalent experience. 3+ years of operations leadership in food production, food manufacturing, meal prep/delivery, or a similar regulated food industry environment. Startup experience or experience scaling a smaller operation is a strong plus.
• Food Safety Expertise: In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards. Hands-on experience implementing HACCP programs and ensuring compliance with FDA/USDA guidelines is required.

Location:

Cincinnati, Ohio. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role. Candidates should be local to the Cincinnati area or willing to relocate (relocation assistance can be discussed for the right candidate).

Compensation:

• Salary: Approximately $70,000 per year , commensurate with experience.
• Equity: Negotiable stock options are available, offering a significant upside as the company grows.
