We're seeking a Moving Specialist who is passionate about unique treasures and providing excellent customer service . As a dynamic company, we move fast and seek to continuously improve – and while this will be a very demanding position, you'll be surrounded by a passionate team of individuals who are dedicated to the common goal of drastically changing the way personal property is sold, bought and moved across the country – and we have a lot of fun while we're doing it. This is a direct hire position, meaning AtWork will be advertising/interviewing on behalf of the client, but you will ultimately be hired by the client directly.

Responsibilities :

• Travel to tri-state area client locations to assist with clear-out/consignment projects.
• Loading/unloaded furniture by hand, able to lift up tp 75lbs consistently
• Manage client communication throughout process including transportation to the processing center.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners to coordinate packing and transport.
• Sort merchandise into three categories (saleable, donatable, and disposable).
• Pack and schedule transportation for a wide array of objects, including fine art, furniture, and small objects which are fragile and valuable.
• Ensure inbound inventory is accurately accounted and moved through production in a timely manner.
• Organizing and sorting consignments at the Central Processing Center
• Locate and process missing items for shipment/pickup.
• Assist with curating newly arrived collections based on insights gained while working directly with the client.
• Assist in-home service team in clearing out estates.
• Work in conjunction with teammates to maximize efficiency and timeliness in order to achieve company defined Key Performance Indicators.
• Maintain a positive relationship and provide exceptional customer service to the client.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of moving experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet driving requirements, no hits on driving record in the last 7 years
• EXPERIENCE DRIVING A 26 FOOT TRUCK
• Must be able to lift large, bulky furniture consistently with no damages. 75lbs consistently
• Effective communicator with the ability to set clear expectations, manage difficult situations, and problem solve.
• Strong second-hand goods enthusiast/generalist, with a broad-based knowledge of item values and current market interest.
• Ability to manage the performance and set expectations for internal and third-party transporters in order to maintain quality standards.
• Drive! This business is fast-paced and challenging. A self-starter is a must!
• A team member mentality with an ability to work independently.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on departmental needs.
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Customer service experience is a must.
• Proficiency with Google Suite (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Sheets, etc.)

Schedule :

Monday-Friday 7am-3/4pm (end time varies with customer schedules)

Pay:

$18-20/hr
