Office Assistant
We are looking for a reliable and organized Office Clerk to join our team in Lorain, Ohio. In this role, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring that administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time. You will support various departments with document management, communication, and general office maintenance to keep our workplace running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Communication and Customer Service: Answer and redirect multi-line phone calls, take detailed messages, and respond to general email inquiries. Talk face to face with incoming customers.
- Document Management: Maintain physical and digital filing systems to ensure all records are up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Mail & Shipping: Sort and distribute incoming mail; prepare outgoing packages and correspondence.
- Data Entry: Input information into company databases and spreadsheets with high accuracy.
- Office Support: Operate and troubleshoot basic office equipment (copiers, scanners, printers) and monitor supply inventory to place reorders when needed.
- Scheduling: Manage calendars and assist in scheduling appointments or coordinating meeting rooms.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer troubleshooting.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Operate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems, and personal computers.
- Communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, take orders, and address complaints.

Hours:
- M-F 8am-4:30pm
Payrate:
- $18/hr
